Traditional Thai massage is a combination of acupressure, reflexology and yogic exercises, or gentle stretching that aids medical recovery, releases physical and mental stress and promotes general wellbeing. At Na-Bua the understated luxury of our spa blends harmoniously with these ancient techniques to restore, rejeuvenate and revitalise.
Traditional Thai massage is based on the priciple that our complete wellbeing is influenced by the four fundamental elements of life; Earth, Water, Air and Fire. The harmony of all four elements is essential for optimum health and any imbalance will cause dis-ease on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.
The entire massage is performed fully clothed, on a mat-style bed that is positioned on the floor. Your therapist will firstly work on the energies around the body before moving onto the physical movements and pressure massage.
